Outpatient Problem Gambling Treatment
Recovery Pointe’s Outpatient Treatment Program meets the “American Society of Addiction Medicine” (ASAM) patient placement criteria for Level I for those patients meeting the “Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders” (DSM-IV-TR) diagnostic criteria for Problem/Pathological Gambling.
For some individuals, this is a suitable step-down program after graduating from a more intensive level of care such as an inpatient or intensive outpatient program. Other patients enter treatment at this level based upon their comprehensive evaluation.
Recovery Pointe’s Outpatient Program treatment is open to adolescents and adults seeking long-term sobriety. The program fosters skill building, honesty, openness and willingness to change - the true core of recovery.
