What is individual counseling and can it help me?
In individual counseling you have the full attention of one of our counselors in an one-to-one atmosphere of understanding, warmth, and insight. Our counselors can help you in a variety of ways because they are excellent sounding-boards, compassionate listeners, and skillful experts in problems of living.

Can I trust that counseling will be confidential?
Yes. All issues discussed in the course of your treatment are completely confidential. This confidentiality is protected by federal privacy laws. Information cannot be disclosed to employers or other parties without the written consent by the patient.

Who would be my counselor?
Yes. At your first appointment you will see a counselor for an intake interview. If individual counseling is recommended, after the intake interview, you will be assigned to one of our staff counselors. We attempt to honor all requests to work with a specific member of our counseling staff, however if they are not accepting an new clients for individual counseling we will assign you to another of our qualified staff.

How long do I need to wait until I can see a counselor?
However, in most cases, the appointment is scheduled for the week following the intake appointment.

What insurance does Recovery Pointe accept?
We accept most major insurance programs.

Do you have sliding scale fees?
Yes. We rarely turn people away due to financial hardships. We offer flexible financing along with a sliding fee scale for those who qualify. Our Financial Manager can help determine insurance eligibility or where insurance is not available, help make financial arrangements.

What can I expect counseling to be like?
Our counselors have different personal styles, however, we all share a compassion for your personal story and feel that the counseling relationship can make a difference in the life of a client. Come in and see. If you are committed to change you may be surprised by how much you can grow.
