DUI/DOL Assessments
We don't assume a person seeking an assessment suffers from alcoholism or any other addiction. Our alcohol and drug assessments, also known as screenings or evaluations, consist of a structured interview and a brief diagnostic test to determine if a problem exists.If a problem does exist we base our recommendations on guidelines established by the American Society of Addiction Medicine.
An alcohol/drug assessment takes approximately 1.5 hours to complete.
Assessment Components:
- A copy of your case history, which is available at the Court or possibly through your attorney. We can also print this off the internet for a cost of $10.00. (Necessary for DUI Evaluation)
- A copy of your police report. (Describes the "what, why, when, and where's" of your arrest).
- A copy of any court orders, citations and breathalyzer report.
