Recovery Pointe is staffed by an experienced and credentialed team. We are certified by the State of Washington to provide Intensive Outpatient, Outpatient, D.U.I. Assessments, Alcohol / Drug Information School, along with Problem/Pathological Gambling Assessment and Treatment
Kim Funderburk, LICSW, CDP, SAP, NCACI – Clinical Supervisor
Ms. Funderburk received her MSW from Walla Walla University School of Social Work in 2004 where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2000 from the University of Alaska Anchorage where she graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Ms. Funderburk has extensive experience as a program director and clinical supervision. She has experience directing At Risk Youth programs, Chemical Dependency and Co-Occurring disorder treatment programs.
Susan Ward, BA, CDP
Ms. Ward received her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Iowa in 1971 and has completed Graduate Studies in guidance counseling at Central Missouri State University. Ms. Ward completed her chemical dependency training at Columbia Basin College in Pasco Washington.
Prior to joining Recovery Pointe, Ms. Ward, worked providing services to pregnant and/or parenting women in a long-term residential setting.
Kathy Breese, CDP
Ms. Breese studied at Eastern Washington University where she majored in Psychology and minored in Alcohol and Drug studies.
Ms. Breese has extensive experience as a lead counselor working with addiction and co-occuring disorders, along with case management. Ms. Breese also has extensive experience helping patients under Department of Corrections supervision.
Jose Soto, CDPT
Mr. Soto completed his addiction studies at Columbia Basin Community College. He is a Spanish first language counselor with experience working with latino youth and adults.
